Laszlo Forray was born in Transylvania, Romania in 1976. Forray works predominantly in the medium of abstract sculpture, art installation, etc. but initially started off as a anti-consumerism advocate trough his collection of re-interpreted salvaged furniture art.
Forray has a masters degree in marketing policies and graduated his first studies in business administration and worked as a business consultant in high-end fashion management. His career took a turn in 2012 when he started producing and art-directing several indie photo shoots and fashion films. He then followed his lifetime passion and was admitted in 2014 as a student at the Sculpture Department of the National University of Arts, Bucharest where he graduated in 2017. Now he is a MA student at the same department. Forray’s work still relates to issues concerning the human impact on our planet, the traces left behind.
